Site Background

Environmental Works, Inc. conducted a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment of the property located at 649 W. High Street in Springfield, Missouri. The subject property has been vacant since approximately 2007. The Site was utilized as residential property between approximately 1927 and 2007.

Findings

The following recognized environmental condition was identified for the subject property:

An adjoining property to the South has been utilized as an automobile garage, service station, and filling station from approximately 1928 through 1997. This site does not appear in the Missouri Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund Database or the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Tank Databases. This is a REC, due to the lack of information regarding the tanks at this property.

There are currently no structures at the Site; therefore, no suspect asbestos containing materials were identified at the subject property.
