TIF Commission OKs Jordan Valley Park Plan

The TIF commission approved a document on Monday, Oct. 15, 2001 which will advance Jordan Valley Park's development. The document, which is a step toward final plans for the expo center and arena, achieves the following:

• finalizes the locations of the expo center, arena, and parking deck
• revises costs for those projects
• clarifies the legal descriptions of property within the district, and
• changes projections on the revenue the district will generate

City Council will have its first hearing on the document at its regular meeting on October 29.
