Citizens' Sales Tax Oversight Committee
Description
This Council-appointed group's purpose is to review and monitor the collection of the ¼-cent Capital Improvements Sales Tax revenues, the ⅛-cent Transportation Sales Tax revenues, and the ¾-cent Police and Fire Fighters Pension Fund Sales Tax revenues. In addition, the committee may evaluate any proposed reduction or enhancement to pension benefits before presentation to City Council.
The committee meets the 3rd Tuesday of the following months: February, May, August and November. They meet in the 4th Floor Conference Room, Busch Building. Member terms are 3 years.
