Site Background

Environmental Works, Inc. conducted a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of the property located at 1078 E. Commercial Street in Springfield, Missouri. The subject property contains an approximately 1,000 square foot (ft2) unoccupied residence constructed in 1906 and approximately 200 ft2 detached garage built in 1950. The Site has been utilized as residential property since 1906. Prior to the construction of the current improvements, the Site was undeveloped land.

Findings

No recognized environmental conditions (REC) were identified for the subject property.

Suspect ACMs observed at the Site include sheet flooring. Sampling and analysis of this material would be necessary in order to determine the asbestos content of these items, if any.
