Zone 1 Councilman
Nick Ibarra

Nicholas Ibarra was elected as a City Council member to represent Zone 1 in April 2009. He currently serves as a Member of the Council Community Involvement Committee, and is Chairman of the Public Involvement Committee. In addition, Mr. Ibarra serves as Chair of the newly formed Commercial Street Task Force.

Mr. Ibarra is a sales representative for Rubber and Gasket Company of America. Previously he served for five years in the United States Marine Corp including one deployment to Iraq.

Mr. Ibarra is currently a student at Evangel University, with emphasis in Business Administration and Management.

His civic involvement includes coaching youth football and baseball and is involved with several community organizations.
