Jan Fisk was appointed to City Council as General Council Seat A in June 2012. She currently serves on the Community Involvement Committee and the Plans and Policies Committee.

In addition to her service on City Council, Councilwoman Fisk serves on various committees for the Springfield Symphony Association, the History Museum of Springfield, Girl Scout’s of the Heartland, and is a financial adviser for the Junior League of Springfield.

Councilwoman Fisk's term expires in 2017.

Professional Experience
Councilwoman Fisk’s professional career includes positions that required working with the public and providing excellent customer service. These experiences proved invaluable when she and her husband founded J. Howard Fisk Limousines, Inc., in 1976. As a small business owner, Councilwoman Fisk knows firsthand how to take a concept and turn it into a success, which is what has occurred with Fisk Limousine. The Company currently has a fleet of over 75 vehicles and provides service to a 4 state area.

Prior to starting Fisk Limousine, Councilwoman Fisk attended Missouri State University, which at the time was known as SMSU.
