Assistant City Manager: Collin Quigley

As the Assistant City Manager, Collin Quigley is responsible for providing direction to and supervision of the functions and activities of departments designated by the City Manager. Quigley works closely with the City Council members, the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager, and department directors in planning, organizing, and implementing programs for a variety of municipal operations. He works closely with the City Manager and the Deputy City Manager in the coordination and administration of day-to-day operations of the City.

Quigley, a Springfield native, graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. Collin obtained his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas. Quigley worked in seven departments with the City of Springfield over three years while completing his undergraduate degree. He also served the City of Springfield as a contract employee for a year and a half in the Public Information Office and the City Manager’s Office.

Prior to joining Springfield as the Assistant City Manager, Collin Quigley served as the City Administrator of Ozark, Missouri, for seven and a half years. With Ozark, Quigley managed the fastest growing city in the state of Missouri and had the opportunity to complete major water and wastewater improvements as well as revitalizing downtown among other projects. Quigley was employed as the City Administrator of Kimberling City, Missouri, for two years before serving as the City Administrator of Ozark. Prior to Kimberling City, Collin worked for two years as the Program Coordinator in the Municipal Services Department for the City of Olathe, Kansas.

Collin is a member of the International City Management Association (ICMA) and is a prior board member of the Missouri City Management Association (MCMA). Collin has taken the opportunity to teach at the college level and has guest lectured several times at Evangel University.
