MINORITY AND WOMEN BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT

Regulations published by the Department of Housing and Urban Development require that the city encourage property owners to provide the opportunity tor minority and women contractors to bid rehabilitation projects financed with HUD funds. This opportunity includes encouraging property owners to separate work items and allow minority subcontractors to bid.

As property owner, you decide who you contract with for services as long as bids are competitive and nondiscriminatory. However, you are encouraged to allow minority contractors and subcontractors to bid your project. Below is a current list of minority and women contractors who are working in the program:
