The Service Center is a division of Public Works Department. The division
operates as an internal service fund and is funded by billing other City
of Springfield departments and divisions for fleet equipment services.
We have a staff of 13 technicians, 3 parts personnel, and 5 administrative
and supervisory personnel that operate a facility that provides repairs
and services to over 1200 pieces of City of Springfield equipment on a
24 hour, 7 day-a-week basis.

Don Mihalevich, MBA, CAFM
Fleet Administrator
Don completed his Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification
in the summer of 2005. The certification is administered through the National
Association of Fleet Administrators(NAFA). He has a Bachelor of Science
(BS) degree in Industrial Management and has obtained his Master of Business
Administration (MBA) in the spring of 2006. Don has been employed by the
City of Springfield as the Fleet Administrator for over 7 years.
Jim Landolt, CEM
Assistant Fleet Administrator
Jim completed his Certificated Equipment Manager (CEM) certification
in 2003 that is administered through the Association
of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP). He has a BS degree in
Business Administration. Jim has also received ASE certifications as a
service consultant and parts specialist. Jim has been employed by the City
of Springfield for 5 years but has been in the trucking business for more
than 15 years.
Paul Williams , 1st Shift Equipment
Maintenance Supervisor
Paul is an ASE Certified Master as a Medium/Heavy Truck and Automotive
Technician. Paul is presently taking several supervisor and computer courses
offered through the City. Paul has worked in the Truck and Automotive repair
and maintenance field for more than 15 years, most of which has been with
the City of Springfield.
Dan Mork, 2nd Shift Equipment Maintenance
Supervisor Dan is an ASE Certified Master as a Medium/Heavy
Truck and Automotive Technician. Dan continues his education by attending
supervisor classes offered through the City of Springfield. He has worked
in the Truck and Automotive repair and maintenance field for more than
20 years with the last 10 being with the City of Springfield.
Brian Cook, Parts and Inventory Supervisor Brian
is an ASE Certified parts specialist. Brian continues his ASE certifications
in the Medium/Heavy Truck and Automotive areas. Brian has worked with
the City of Springfield for over 8 years, all of which have been in the
parts department.
Donna Euliss, Administrative Assistant Donna
handles all administrative functions associated with the fleet operation
She is responsible for monitoring the operation and administration of
the City's six fueling sites. Donna has 22 years of experience with the
City most of which has been with the Service Center.
