Floodplain Management

The City of Springfield is a participating community in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) administrated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

As part of the NFIP Cooperating Technical Partner program, the Storm Water Services Division completed remapping of the FEMA floodplains in the City and FEMA has recently released the new maps.

Questions or comments can be emailed to city@springfieldmo.gov.
