Recruiting & Testing Information
Candidates must submit appropriate documentation prior to the application deadline. For example, if you possess 36 hours of college credit as a minimum qualification, you must submit a college transcript by the deadline. PLEASE NOTE: Candidates who fail to submit appropriate documentation prior to the deadline WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED OR INVITED TO TEST.
Process for applying for Firefighter
1.) Apply online.
2.) Submit all required documentation (see Recruiting & Testing Information above).
3.) Prepare and watch your email for information regarding the testing cycle.
Depending on circumstance, some out-of-state candidates may be offered the opportunity to interview immediately following successful completion of the physical agility test. This option will be subject to available interview slots and by prior request only.

After the entire process concludes, only those applicants who satisfactorily complete each phase of the testing process will be considered eligible for hire. The list of eligible candidates remains in effect until a new list is established at the completion of the next process - typically the same time the following year.
