WIC and Jordan Valley Community Health Center

A brand new facility at 440 E Tampa Street in Springfield opens its doors to clients of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program. In partnership with Jordan Valley Community Health Center, WIC moved its office from 290 East Central Street the last week of June and set up shop in the state of the art facility.

Clients can now receive medical, pharmacy, dental, mental health, Parents as Teachers, lactation consultant, Doula, library and WIC services all at one convenient, beautiful facility.

Representatives from local, state and federal organizations and government were on hand July 2, 2009 to recognize staff and celebrate the grand opening at a well-attended ribbon cutting ceremony.
