Deb has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a Certified Government Financial Manager. She has more than twenty-seven years experience and came to work for the Springfield-Greene County Health Department in 1994. She is currently an officer of the Ozarks Chapter of Association of Governmental Accountants.
Deb oversees all fiscal matters for the health department. Those include the payroll and accounts payable functions for the department. She also is responsible for all grant expenditure documentation and billing, as well as Medicare, Medicaid and third party billing.
Deb is responsible for budget preparation and budget monitoring for both the city and county funding. She assists all supervisors and employees regarding fiscal reporting and documentation.
Deb is the County Registrar for Birth and Death Certifications and oversees five deputies that run the day-to-day operations of the information office. She is proud to work with the staff and happy to be a member of the health department.
