Jaci earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with honors from the Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. Her career includes more than 17 years in the Communications field, working in film and video production, video editing, television news producing and videography, photography, website design, graphic design and writing. She frequently teaches, lectures and leads trainings on risk communication, public information and working with the media.
Jaci is an active member of the National Public Health Information Coalition, the Public Relations Society of America and the Southwest Missouri Emergency Support Organization. She is currently the president of Ozark Regional Alliance and participates in several other regional and local collaboratives.
She loves the Ozarks and the people she has the privilege to work with. She is passionate about public health and ensuring information is available to every person in a format they can understand. Despite her varied work experience, she says her current position is the most fascinating, challenging and rewarding job she can imagine.
