Karen's professional education background is in Biology and Environmental Chemistry, followed by Medical Technology School. Karen has worked in a clinical microbiolgoy laboratory, a forensic laboratory and in public health for a total of 20 years.
She has enjoyed a diversity of job roles and the community contacts each job has provided and is thankful for the opportunities that this diversity affords her in her current public health profession.
