Kevin has been with the Springfield-Greene County Health Department since 1993 serving in many different roles before becoming the Director in March of 2004. Previous to coming to Springfield he worked for the Missouri Department of Health in Jefferson City for nearly 9 years.
His degrees include a Masters in Health Services Management from Webster University and a Bachelors of Arts from Drury University. Kevin is a Board Certified Public Health Administrator and a fellow of the Missouri Public Health Leadership Institute at St. Louis University. Kevin teaches at SMSU in the graduate school of public health and in the Health Service Management program at Webster University.
Kevin is a member of the American Public Health Association, National Association of City and County Health Administrators, Missouri Association of Local Public Health Agencies and is the past President of the Missouri Public Health Association. Kevin serves as a board member for the Community Partnership of the Ozarks, Jordan Valley Community Health Center, and the Forest Institute.
