Obesity prevention and education

Tammy Vestal, BSN, RN is a Public Health Nurse in our department who is concerned about the increasing number of overweight children in Greene County.

She has partnered with multiple area child care providers in Springfield, and together they are finding ways to encourage kids to make better food choices and to take part in more physical activity.
