I became pregnant and needed verification from the health department
to take to the Medicaid office.
The nurse that did my pregnancy test was very polite and helpful. She told me about the prenatal program.
I joined the program and saw Karen James throughout my pregnancy. She was very personable and supportive.
She seemed to genuinely care not only about my pregnancy, but about my whole family's situation.
She gave me the encourgement and emotional support that I needed to work on my issues, and I looked forward to our visits.
After I delivered, I was having trouble breastfeeding. Julie Randolph, Lactation Consultant/Nutritionist at WIC worked with me diligently.
I was in a very emotional state and she had great patience, was very calm and supportive when working with me.
