Conduct research and provide technical assistance for programs and projects necessary for ensuring environmental compliance for the City of Springfield.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil or Chemical Engineering, or a related science degree plus two years of relevant work experience. A Masters Degree may be substituted for one year of work experience. Directly related work experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Must possess a valid MO Motor Vehicle Operator’s License; must possess or obtain and maintain certification as a Solid Waste Technician and 8 Hour Hazwoper Awareness within probationary period.

$1,389.60 - $1,937.60 Bi-weekly is complete Salary Range.
(Starting salary is typically at the beginning of the range depending on individual qualifications and budget authorization.)
