PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKING LEADER
- Current vacancy in Turf Management -
Serves as a working leader within either the Turf Management or Repair & Construction section of the Parks Operations Division for a variety of parks projects. Supervises and participates in the care, and/or construction, and maintenance of turf, trees, shrubs, grounds, buildings, facilities, and equipment in city parks.
Two years of experience in general maintenance of commercial grounds and/or buildings; or completion of an apprentice program in a recognized building trade. Due to the Parks Maintenance Working Leader position serving in both the Turf Management and Repair & Construction sections of Parks, candidate experience must be commensurate with current vacancy. Experience directing/leading the work of others is preferred. At minimum, candidates must possess a Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrakes. Candidates must obtain and maintain a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License with airbrakes within the first 90 days of employment. Must obtain Missouri Certified Public Pesticide Applicators License in Ornamental Turf within one year of employment depending upon current vacancy. Subject to emergency call-in and overtime hours.

$1,097.60 - $1,573.60 Bi-weekly is complete Salary Range.
(Starting salary is typically at the beginning of the range depending on individual qualifications and budget authorization.)
