AIRCRAFT SERVICES SPECIALIST
Must be willing to work 10 hour shifts and be available for weekends & holidays as scheduled.
Shift differential paid per hour for 2nd ($.50) and 3rd ($1.00) shift assignments.
Services aircraft with proper fuels and performs Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) and EMS services and other aviation related support.
Six months experience in one of the following areas: aircraft rescue firefighting, structural firefighting, emergency medical technician or related capacity. One year of experience working with or around aircraft is desirable. Subject to emergency call-in. Must be able to work various assigned shifts to accommodate twenty-four hour operation and be available for travel and certify in advanced ARFF training. Must complete aircraft rescue and firefighting course, participate and certify in the annual FAA, Pt.139 live-fire burn, participate in recurrent training and self-study programs in aircraft rescue, firefighting, aircraft refueling safety, EMT-B and CPR/AED. Must pass a 10-year criminal history security threat assessment as required by the Transportation Security Administration.
Must possess a valid Missouri Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Must obtain and maintain a Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License with tank/hazmat endorsements within the probationary period. Missouri State EMT-B certification and IFSAC Firefighter I and II certification required; must obtain 40 hours Aircraft Rescue Firefighting within 12 months of employment. All certifications must be maintained throughout appointment.

$14.50- $20.77 Hourly is complete Salary Range.
(Starting salary is typically at the beginning of the range depending on individual qualifications and budget authorization.)
