Fitness Challenge
The Springfield Police Department, in partnership with the YMCA, is presenting a Fitness Challenge, a 10-week program designed to help individuals prepare for the physical agility test required to become a police officer.
The program will be led by a personal trainer who will help you build endurance, strength and overall physical performance. No membership to the YMCA is needed. The cost to sign up for the program will be $50 for YMCA members. For all others the cost is $75. The participants will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Jones YMCA on Republic Road. The start date for the next class will be determined soon.
