Lights On for Safety
With the winter's shorter daylight hours and the inclement weather that is common during these months, motorists need to be aware of the need to drive with their lights on. Anytime that visibility is reduced, please turn on your vehicle's lights so that other drivers will more easily see you. Being visible is an important part of avoiding accidents.
Drivers of newer vehicles that have headlights that come on automatically need to be aware that they need to manually turn on their lights when inclement weather arrives. Sometimes the headlight sensors don't catch the need for the lights to be on.
Please drive carefully and wear your seatbelt.
