Welcome to the Springfield Police Department's online crime reporting service. This report is offered as a service to our citizens and its use is voluntary. You may always call 417-864-1810 and give your report to a Police Services Representative if you prefer.

The use of this report is limited to crimes that occurred within the city limits of Springfield, MO. You may report only the crimes listed below online. Please read the definitions of each crime to determine if you should use the Online Police Report.

Forgery-making, drawing, or altering a document with the intent to defraud. A signature made without the person knowing of or consenting to it.
Fraudulent use of a credit device-someone uses credit or debit cards or other financial instrument without the consent of the owner.
Graffiti-images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. May appear in the forms of simple written words to elaborate wall paintings.
Harassment-by phone, mail, e-mail or other means including using offensive language, making anonymous phone calls, making repeated telephone calls, immediate hangups.
Identity theft-a person obtains items or services while representing themselves as someone else.
Indecent exposure-illegal exposure of body parts.
Juvenile (non-criminal)-custody exchange issues or other non-criminal issues involving juveniles.
Left without paying-goods or services are not paid for such as gasoline or a restaurant meal.
Lost property-property that has been lost or misplaced.
Past disturbance-disturbance not currently in progress involving neighbors, associates or unknown suspects (not family members or someone involved in a romantic relationship).
Stealing-someone stole your property.
Vandalism-damaging or defacing the property of another person, malicious mischief, such as knocking over mailboxes, toilet papering house, throwing rocks through windows.
