Taxicab Application Information

After printing the Taxicab Application, please follow all instructions listed on the first page. If you have questions, please contact the Internal Affairs Unit in the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1791 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

If you will be taking the Driver's Permit Examination to obtain your Class E Driver's License, you may access the Missouri Driver Guide online. Your taxicab exam will also include questions for a Class E License. You should be familiar with the Municipal Code of Springfield concerning Taxicabs, Courtesy Cars and Airport Limousines.
