The
Sac River Trail is a network of singletrack trails
located just north of Springfield, Missouri.
It
encompasses about three hundred acres of land,
ranging
from ridge tops to creek bottoms. Hikers,
trail runners, and mountain bikers of all
skill
levels can enjoy the more than eight miles of
interconnecting
trails. The area is also full of wildlife.
Directions:
Take
Highway 13 north from Springfield for three miles.
Watch
for the Sac River Trail sign on the right side of the highway.
Turn
left at the sign and follow the access road to
the gravel parking lot on the right.
