Career Center to host networking event for college students Wednesday

The Missouri Career Center-Ozark Region will host an informal networking event for college students to meet with local employers 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 at the Career Center, 2900 E. Sunshine.

The Missouri State University Office of Multicultural Programs, with support from the City of Springfield, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Missouri Career Center-Ozark Region invite employers and college students to attend this very special event to facilitate networking among key employers and Springfield's diverse emerging workforce.

"This event and others like it are important as we strive to be inclusive of the individual talents and skill sets of our population and to embrace the cultures, talents and skills sets of our emerging workforce," says Mary Ann Rojas, City of Springfield Workforce Development/Missouri Career Center-Ozark Region director.
