Fire Department conducts extrication training

WHO: Members of the Springfield Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team
WHAT: Firefighters will participate in training to enhance their extrication skills. Members of the technical rescue team will use the “jaws of life” and other tools to simulate removing a trapped victim from a wrecked vehicle.
WHEN: 1 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 18-20.
WHERE: Buddy’s Auto Mall, 5740 U.S. 60, Brookline (near James River and W. Sunshine)
