John Q. Hammons Parkway Lane Closure

The southbound lane of John Q. Hammons Parkway between St. Louis Street and the first driveway into University Plaza Hotel will be closed beginning on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, to accommodate a crane that will be used to set pre-cast concrete panels on the side of the new BKD building being constructed at the southwest corner of intersection. Access to the Springfield Chamber of Commerce will still be available for northbound traffic on John Q. Hammons Parkway and also from St. Louis Street.

The southbound lane of John Q. Hammons Parkway should be re-opened to traffic by Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, weather permitting.
