Lake Springfield Volunteer Work Day

A "TogetherGreen" Volunteer Work Day will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at Lake Springfield Park, 2312 E. Lake Springfield Park Road.

Three conservation work projects will be offered along Lake Springfield's north shore:

All necessary tools will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Volunteers should register by calling (417) 864-1051, and report to the Lake Springfield Boathouse to check-in on Saturday.

"TogetherGreen" volunteer activities are sponsored by the National Audubon Society, the Greater Ozarks Audubon Society and Springfield-Greene County Park Board, with national funding from Toyota.
