Volunteer Workday on Frisco Highline Trail Bridge

Ozark Greenways will hold its monthly volunteer workday beginning at 8:30 a.m., this Saturday, Feb. 21, meeting at the Wishart trailhead of the Frisco Highline Trail, just north of Springfield. (Print a map of the Frisco Highline Trail on www.ozarkgreenways.org). For those interested in carpooling or caravanning to the trail, meet at 8 a.m. at the Crossroads gas station at the intersection of Highways 13 and O. The actual work will take place on one of the trail’s trestle bridges north of Wishart.

The project will consist of clearing encroaching vegetation. If possible, bring limb loppers, limb pruners, handsaws, chainsaws, work gloves and a water bottle.
