City Hosts Good Morning Springfield! Program

The City of Springfield will host the annual State of the City program for the Good Morning Springfield! breakfast series at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2009.

The program, sponsored by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place at the Springfield Art Museum, 1111 Brookside Drive.

Mayor Tom Carlson will talk with Chamber President Jim Anderson about current topics in Springfield as well as his 25-year career in public service for the City of Springfield. This will be Mayor Carlson’s sixth and final State of the City program before he leaves office after the April 7 election.

Good Morning Springfield! is a monthly event designed to inform members of the business community about activities in the public sector with monthly updates from the City, Greene County and Springfield Public Schools along with the Chamber.
