"H2Ozarks" Screening at the Moxie April 23

“H2Ozarks,” a short film about clean water efforts in southwest Missouri, will be shown every half hour from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Moxie Cinema, 431 S. Jefferson Ave. in Springfield. The screenings are part of the local Earth Day celebration this week.

Along with the video, there will be live music at the Moxie by Mark Bilyeu and Cindy Woolf, as well as photos by Josh Mitchell. Admission is free. The video is being presented by the Environmental Resources Coalition and the Water Quality Improvement Project, which is a joint effort between the Elk River Watershed Improvement Association, the James River Basin Partnership, the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake Water Quality, Inc., the Shoal Creek Watershed Improvement Association and the Upper White River Basin Foundation. Funding for this multi-year project was secured by Sen. Kit Bond and former Sen. Jim Talent.
