June "Know Your Parks" Begins Tonight

The June episode of the new “Know Your Parks” television show begins airing tonight at 7 p.m., Friday, May 29, on Mediacom Connections Channel 22.

The 30-minute monthly show features Springfield-Greene County Park Board programs, facilities and events. June’s show takes a look at one of Springfield’s largest parks, Lake Springfield Park, and ways you can canoe and kayak the waters of the James River Water Trail. The program also highlights the new off-leash Cruse Dog Park and the summer happenings at the Dickerson Park Zoo. And you’ll always find a list of upcoming Parks activities at the end of the program.

The show is available at 7 p.m., Fridays and 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month on Mediacom Channel 22. The show also will re-air on TV23, the City’s government channel throughout the month. Visit <tv23.springfieldmo.gov> for a monthly schedule.
