McDonald's Dollar Day Ends Zoo's Summer
On Saturday, Sept. 19, all you need to have a great day at the zoo is $1! Admission to Dickerson Park Zoo will be $1 for all ages; gates are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
McDonald’s Dollar Day activities include
- Meet-and-greet Ronald McDonald and tour the Tooth Truck, 9 a.m. to noon
- $1 face painting booth, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- $1-a-ride inflatable bounce, open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Taekwondo demonstrations presented by the National Progressive Taekwondo Association, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The first 500 kids (ages 12 and younger) to complete a scavenger hunt will receive a coupon for an ice cream treat from a participating McDonald’s restaurant. The zoo will also offer $1 specials on soft drinks and popcorn.
McDonald’s Dollar Day is presented by Dickerson Park Zoo, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, McDonald’s and Alice 95.5FM.
Dickerson Park Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission fees are $7 for adults and teenagers, $5 for seniors age 60 and older, $5 for children ages 3-12 and free for children age 2 and younger.
