McDonald's Dollar Day Ends Zoo's Summer

On Saturday, Sept. 19, all you need to have a great day at the zoo is $1! Admission to Dickerson Park Zoo will be $1 for all ages; gates are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

McDonald’s Dollar Day activities include

The first 500 kids (ages 12 and younger) to complete a scavenger hunt will receive a coupon for an ice cream treat from a participating McDonald’s restaurant. The zoo will also offer $1 specials on soft drinks and popcorn.

McDonald’s Dollar Day is presented by Dickerson Park Zoo, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, McDonald’s and Alice 95.5FM.

Dickerson Park Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission fees are $7 for adults and teenagers, $5 for seniors age 60 and older, $5 for children ages 3-12 and free for children age 2 and younger. Friends of the Zoo members are admitted free; FOZ memberships are $65 for an annual pass. For information about zoo events, visit or call 417-864-1800.
