Two Charged With First Degree Arson
Two individuals have been charged with first degree Arson in connection with a fire that occurred on Sept. 13, 2009 at 1835 W. Kingsley St. The arrests, made late yesterday, were a coordinated effort between the Springfield Fire and Police Departments. Charged in the incident were Daniel B. Poole and Megan M. Maples. The fire cause was the result of methamphetamine production. First degree Arson is a Class B felony punishable with up to 5 to 15 years in prison.
