Post Your Elections Questions on New Forum

The City of Springfield has added a section to its online community forum for citizens to post questions related to the Nov. 3 sales tax referendum for the Police-Fire Pension Fund. Citizen can ask questions and get answers directly from City staff about this issue using the forum. Users will be required to register in order to post. The process is quick and free, and is standard for online forums.

The forum joins other online resources related to the Nov. 3 referendum. These can be found by visiting www.springfieldmo.gov/elections, and include links to supporting documents, City Council bills, videos, and explanatory blog posts. Links to all of the documents, videos and information created as part of the Police-Fire Pension Fund Citizens’ Task Force process are also provided, as is a link to a sample ballot.

For more information about the forum and online resources, contact: Louise Whall, Director of Public Information, (417) 864-1009.
