Turkey Trot Adds Twists and Turns

In an effort to keep the 15th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk fresh, the race route has been slightly modified to include more twists and turns.

Participants will still begin to the east of the Springfield Expo Center on St. Louis Street, and will proceed south on National Avenue, west on Grand Street, north on John Q. Hammons Parkway, east on Monroe Street and through Missouri State University’s campus, west on Cherry Street, north on Kimbrough Avenue, and finish on the north side of the Expo Center on East Trafficway. The route will be adequately marked and patrolled for safety.
