Upcoming School's Out Program Dates

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board will again host the SPARC School’s Out Program on President’s Day, Monday, Feb. 15 at various Springfield Public School locations.

SPARC School’s Out is open to any K-5 students in the area. Children will participate in games, arts and crafts, movies and more. The day-long program runs 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. and varies in price based on location, field trips and number of children per family. Locations include: Bissett, Gray, McBride, McGregor, Sequiota, Truman, Weaver and Westport Elementary Schools. SPARC also offers the program during SPS’s spring break dates, Mar. 22 – 26, as well as a teacher workday on Friday, Apr. 23.

SPARC (Schools, Parks Are Reaching Communities) is a partnership between the Park Board and Springfield Public Schools, promoting opportunities for youth and families through after-school and recreational enrichment, summer camps, special outings, and increased availability of joint school-park facilities.
