Youth Soccer, Volleyball Registration Extended

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board’s School-Parks Are Reaching Communities section (SPARC), will extend its registration for city-wide soccer and volleyball programs through Friday, March 5.

Soccer Leagues: The coed soccer league is available to children Pre-K through 5th grade, and will be divided into divisions based on age. Children will learn basic soccer skills, such as passing, dribbling, shooting and teamwork. All games will be played on Saturdays, April 10 - May 22 at Truman or McBride Elementary soccer fields, depending on the participant’s location.

Volleyball League: The spring league is open to all 3rd through 6th grade girls. Children will learn basic volleyball skills, such as digging, passing, serving and teamwork. Games will be played on Saturdays, April 10 - May 15 at Wilson’s Creek 5/6 School or O’Reilly Tefft gymnasiums.

The fee for the soccer and volleyball leagues is $35 per participant, which includes a T-shirt and medal.
