"Bike-Bus-Walk to Work Week" Trophy Winners

Ozark Greenways’ annual Commuting Challenge in May, during “Bike-Bus-Walk to Work Week”, was a successful event to promote Springfield’s growing on-street bike route system and greenway trail connections. Public momentum to increase our community’s bicycling infrastructure is going strong, with two recent national awards: Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community designation by the League of American Bicyclists; and South Creek Greenway received Springfield’s third National Recreation Trail designation by the National Park Service.
