Register Now for Urban Challenge

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board will host the Springfield Urban Challenge beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Lake Springfield Park, 2312 S. Kissick Road, with early registration pricing ending Friday, Sept. 17.

The Urban Challenge is a race through and around Springfield. Teams compete against each other to complete the course the fastest using a variety of transportation means (bike, running, walking, and paddling). Participants will encounter both mental and physical challenges during the race, requiring quick thinking and strong teamwork skills.

Teams of two will compete in Co-ed, Men’s or Women’s categories. Early registration on or before Friday, Sept. 17 is $75/team. Registration will be accepted through Friday, Sept. 24 for $100/team.
