No Damage Reported Following Tornado Warning

No damage has been reported following a Tornado Warning issued just after 5 p.m. in eastern Greene County.

The Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management activated storm sirens in east Springfield, Strafford and portions of eastern Greene County after radar images showed cloud rotation often associated with tornadoes in the area of east Sunshine Street and US 65. A trained weather spotter later reported a wall cloud in the area.

The Tornado Warning has now expired in Greene County, but the region remains under a Tornado Watch until 12 a.m. Greene County residents are urged to monitor weather conditions this evening.
