Two traditionally separate Park Board events have now combined for one event this year. The free Easter Egg Hunt (traditionally held at Doling Park) will take place at 1 p.m. for children 3–9 years of age.
The Easter Bunny will visit from 1 – 3 p.m. Other family-oriented activities run throughout the event including arts and crafts, inflatables, pony rides, photos, face painting and yard games. Some activities have a small fee.
Call the Farm Park at 417-837-5949 for more information.
NEW—Easter Egg Roll
10 – 11 a.m., Saturday, April 23 at Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic Ave.
The Botanical Center will host its inaugural Easter Egg Roll, which will mimic the Easter Egg Roll held on the White House lawn each year. Different age groups of children will race as they roll their plastic egg down the Great Lawn. Peter Rabbit and friends will visit the garden throughout the day as well. The event is free to all participants and is part of a larger weekend of activities.

10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23 at Dickerson Park Zoo, 1401 W. Norton Road
