Dog-walking Trail Focus of Greenways' Volunteer Work Day

Ozark Greenways' April volunteer workday will join forces with the Southwest Missouri Humane Society this Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. – Noon. We will be clearing brush and spreading woodchips, to further enhance the new dog-walking trail for the shelter dogs at the Humane Society. Having a good place outdoors to exercise these potential pets makes them much more attractive for adoption, physically and mentally.

The public is invited to volunteer. Meet at the Humane Society, at 3161 W. Norton Rd. If possible, bring limb-loppers, heavy rakes, wheelbarrows, pitchforks, shovels, work gloves and a water bottle. We ask that groups RSVP to 864-2015.
