Back-to-school Immunizations Offered Through August
As summer comes to a close, many families are making preparations for school to start. One of the most important items to check off your list for back-to-school preparations is to make sure that your child's immunizations are up to date. Immunizations are one of the most important ways to protect children from disease and to keep them healthy and happy as they go through the school year!
The Springfield-Greene County Health Department Westside Public Health Center will be holding special Back-To-School walk-in clinics the entire month of August. Walk-in clinics will be available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and on Tuesdays from 7:30 am to 10:00 am beginning August 1st. Parents wishing to have their children vaccinated must bring a current copy of the child's immunization record. Westside Public Health Center is located at 660 S. Scenic Avenue Springfield, MO.
