Guns vs Guards Benefits Child Advocacy Center

The Springfield Police Department would like to invite the public to the Guns vs. Guards Basketball Game. This is a two-day event benefiting the Child Advocacy Center.

The event starts with a Tip-Off party on Friday, August 5th at 319 W Walnut. This event is part of the 1st Friday Artwalk and will include live entertainment, refreshments made available by Mother's Brewery, manicures, massages, a silent auction, raffle and other events.

The game takes place on Saturday, August 6th, at Cherokee Middle School gym, located at 420 E Farm Road 182 in Springfield. The event will include children's activities at 4pm with the game starting at 6pm.

SPD will take on the Federal Medical Center with tickets being sold for $5.00 (children 5 and under are free). There will also be raffles at the door.

Come out and show your support for both agencies and help benefit a great cause.
