Easter at Rutledge-Wilson Farm March 31

Kids are invited to Easter at the Farm Saturday, March 31, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rutledge-Wilson Community Farm Park, 3825 W. Farm Road 146.

The highlight of the event is the giant Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 3-9, at 1 p.m. More than 12,000 candy-filled plastic eggs are ready for kids to find, with staggered start times for different age groups. Easter at the Farm also include inflatables, pony rides, yard games, arts and crafts and other family-oriented activities. The Easter Bunny will be there for photos with kids.

The event is free, but some activities have a small fee.

Rutledge-Wilson Community Farm Park is a child-friendly farm and park celebrating Springfield and Greene County's agricultural heritage. The 207-acre Farm Park features barns, animals, gardens, a pond and a farm-themed playground. It's located just west of Springfield city limits, near Sunshine Street and West Bypass.
