Extended Pool Hours, Cooling Centers Offered

As the National Weather Service's Heat Advisory continues through Wednesday, July 25, the Springfield-Greene County Park Board is offering extended outdoor pool hours and access to air-conditioned lobbies serving as cooling centers.

The following pools will be open until 8 p.m. through the Heat Advisory:

Monday, July 23
Tuesday, July 24
Wednesday, July 25

All outdoor pools are also open normal hours daily 1-6:30 p.m. with maintenance days staggered Monday through Wednesday. A full schedule is posted at parkboard.org/aquatics.

Normal admission is $2.75 adults, $2.25 kids 17 and under. After 5:30 p.m. admission to all pools drops to $1 or a canned food item. All food collected goes to Ozarks Food Harvest.

Splash n' Sizzle Weekends already planned for July also offer extended pool hours with admission for $1 or one canned food item donation. Splash n' Sizzle locations, days and hours include:

Those needing a break from the heat are welcome to spend time in free cooling centers available during regular business hours during Heat Advisories, at:
