Property damage suspects identified

Investigators with the Springfield Police Department have identified and arrested two males believed to be responsible for the recent rash of property damage cases all over the city involving windows being broken out by projectiles. The pivotal lead in the case was a surveillance camera photograph of the vehicle used by the suspects during one of the incidents in a downtown parking garage.

The suspects, Ira C. Boyd and Randy A. Moore, are currently being held in the Greene County Jail with a bond of $50,000 each. The Greene County Prosecutor's Office has filed two charges of 1st Degree Tampering and three charges of 1st Degree Property Damage on each suspect.

The charges announced herein are merely accusations and these individuals are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
